Here are just a few of the bath remodeling jobs we have done around Cincinnati.

Some of our baths

Based on square footage, bath remodels are the most expensive remodeling project one can do for their home. For this reason, you will want to consider two things carefully. One is why are you remodeling and how much are you going to budget for the remodel? There are three main reasons people remodel their bathrooms. Some get remodeled because they are old and need a lot of repair work. For some, the reason for remodeling is to increase the value of their home. Then there are the very few who aren't remodeling because they have to or because they are looking for a good return on their investment. They are remodeling because they want their bath to reflect their lifestyle. They also want all the beauty and comfort their money can buy them. Whatever the reason for remodeling, that reason will determine how much you should budget for the remodel. In the first case of a bath needing repair, you probably would want to gut the bath and go back with economy or builder grade bath fixtures and tile. These usually run between $5,000 - $6,000. If you are remodeling in terms of ROI, you will want to consider the value of the home as a whole. For example, if all the houses in the neighborhood are selling at around $100,000, then it wouldn't make sense to spend $60,000 on a bathroom remodel. There is a limit on how much a bath or additional baths for that matter can add to the value of a house. The purpose of the images above are not to show you that we can do Luxurious $100,000 dollar bathrooms, but to show you what we have done with a few basic remodels. Except for those who fit into our third case scenario, this is where every bath remodeling job starts. Everything is removed down to the studs. New rough-in plumbing and electric go in, then the drywall and concrete board on the walls. This is typical of all baths so the difference in cost is the price of the tile and fixtures. Look at the pictures above and see what a simple thing like upgrading tile and fitures can do for the look, feel and value of not only the bath, but the whole home as well.
